Cookie policy

Last updated 28 September 2026.

Short answer: this website doesn't use cookies. It keeps two small settings in your browser so it works as you'd expect, and nothing else.

What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Websites can also save small items with your browser's storage features (local storage and session storage). The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) cover all of these. Storage that's strictly necessary for something you've asked for doesn't need consent. Anything else, such as analytics or advertising, does.

What this site uses

NameTypePurposeHow long
cask-consentLocal storage (first party)Remembers that you've seen the cookie notice, so it isn't shown on every page. Strictly necessary.Until you clear your browser data
cask-strip-offSession storage (first party)Remembers that you closed the pricing note at the top of the page. Set only if you close it.Until you close the tab

Neither item contains personal information, and neither is sent to us or anyone else. Both stay in your browser.

What this site doesn't use

Some links take you off this site, for example to WhatsApp, your email app, or the ICO. Those services have their own cookie and privacy policies.

Your settings

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, there's nothing to switch on or off. You can see our current settings, or show the notice again, here:

You can also clear or block site storage in your browser settings. The site still works if you do. The cookie notice will just reappear.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential tool, we'll update this policy first, and we'll ask for your consent before it runs. Nothing non-essential will load until you agree.
